About This Campaign

This campaign was created to drive registrations for
Chitti’s NEET JEE Masterclass Workshop . A free event
targeting students preparing for competitive entrance
exams. The core challenge this campaign addresses is
one of the biggest fears every NEET and JEE student
carries: too many questions, not enough time, and no
clear strategy to bridge the gap.

The campaign uses a pain point first approach, opening
with the exact frustration students feel before offering
the solution. A scarcity-based lead magnet (free
₹1000 strategic planner for the first 100 registrants)
was used to drive immediate action rather than passive
interest.

This script was written entirely by me and reflects
an understanding of the emotional and psychological
state of competitive exam students in Tamil Nadu,
high anxiety, time pressured, and looking for proven
shortcuts rather than more content to study.

AD 1 — NEET JEE Masterclass Workshop

Campaign Type: Lead Generation + Event Registration
Ad Format: Hero Ad — Direct Address
Language: Tamil
Ad Type: Pain Point Ad + Authority Ad + Scarcity Ad
Hook Style: Relatable Frustration Hook : Time vs Questions

Strategic Insight

This script opens with a question that every NEET and
JEE student has already asked themselves — if there are
100 to 200 questions and barely enough time to read all
of them, how do top students still clear the exam?
Starting with this shared frustration immediately signals
to the viewer that this ad understands their problem
before pitching any solution.

The authority is built through track record rather than
claims — “last 5 years, hundreds of students, not just
coaching but full guidance until college admission”
positions Chitti as a long term partner, not just a
one-time workshop. This is more credible than generic
success claims because it specifies both the duration
and the depth of support.

The emotional escalation — “proper guidance ilathathu
naale pala pasanga ooruperu theriyatha college la
poyi padichi avanga life ah ezhukaranga” — adds a
genuine fear-based consequence to not acting.
This is not just about passing an exam. It is about
the life trajectory that follows. That emotional weight
makes the CTA feel urgent without being manipulative.

The scarcity mechanism — free ₹1000 strategic planner
for the first 100 registrants only — creates a time
sensitive reason to act immediately rather than
thinking about it later. This script opens with a question that every NEET and

Key Takeaways: NEET JEE Masterclass Ad

  • Opening with a shared frustration is more effective
than opening with a solution. the viewer needs to
feel understood before they are ready to listen to
    an offer
  • Track record specificity builds more trust than
generic claims, “5 years, hundreds of students,
guidance until college admission” is far more
credible than “we help students succeed”
  • Emotional consequence before CTA increases urgency
connecting inaction to a real life outcome (wrong
college, derailed future) makes the decision feel
    important, not just convenient
  • Scarcity tied to real value converts better than
countdown timers, offering a ₹1000 planner free
to the first 100 registrants gives the audience a
tangible, immediate reason to act now rather than
    later
  • Writing for a high-anxiety audience requires
clarity over creativity — this script uses
simple, direct Tamil that respects the reader’s
time and mirrors how they already think about
    their exam preparation

Campaign Level Summary

This campaign demonstrates the ability to write
performance-focused ad scripts for a high-stakes,
emotionally charged audience. NEET and JEE students
are not passive viewers, they are stressed, time
pressured, and highly selective about what they pay
attention to. Writing effectively for this audience
requires a deep understanding of their psychology,
not just the product being promoted.

Ad Type: Pain Point + Authority + Scarcity
Hook: Relatable frustration, time vs question volume
CTA Mechanism: Free lead magnet with first-100 scarcity
Outcome: Event registration drive for free masterclass

Skills Demonstrated

  • Tamil language ad scriptwriting for competitive
    exam audiences
  • Pain point led hook writing
  • Authority building through track record specificity
  • Emotional consequence writing before CTA
  • Scarcity and lead magnet mechanics
  • Writing for high anxiety, time pressured audiences
  • End-to-end script ownership from concept to
    final copy

AD 2 — Shortcut Hook NEET JEE Ad

Campaign Type: Lead Generation + Event Registration
Ad Format: Hero Ad — Direct Address to Parents
Language: Tamil
Ad Type: Pain Point Ad + Educational Ad + Scarcity Ad
Hook Style: Repetition Hook — Shortcut Shortcut Shortcut

Strategic Insight

This ad opens with one of the most effective hook
techniques in advertising — deliberate word repetition.
“Shortcut shortcut shortcut” works because it mirrors
exactly what every NEET and JEE student is desperately
searching for. It does not introduce the brand, the
product, or even the problem first. It just says the
one word that is already living rent-free in the
viewer’s head. That is what makes it stop-scroll
worthy in the first three seconds.

What follows is a smart reframe — shortcuts are not
a cheat code, they are a necessity. With 200 questions
and only 180 minutes, conceptual understanding alone
is not enough. This reframe does two things at once:
it validates the student’s instinct to look for
shortcuts and it positions the workshop as the
legitimate, structured way to learn them.

The audience pivot is worth noting. Unlike AD 1 which
speaks directly to students, this script shifts mid-way
to address parents — “Unga pasanga NEET JEE exams
prepare panrangala?” This dual audience targeting
within a single script is a deliberate strategic choice.
Parents are often the ones who see the ad first and
make the registration decision on behalf of their child.

Closing with the dream college proof point — “Intha
planner ah follow pani than engaloda Chitti students
avangaloda dream colleges ku ponanga” — adds
transformation-based social proof right before the
final CTA, reassuring both parents and students that
this is a proven path, not a promise.

Original Script

Shortcut shortcut shortcut.

ah 180 nimisathula eppadi mudika mudiyum.

Unga pasanga NEET JEE exams prepare panrangala?
Ungalkagave vara Sunday naanga free ah NEET JEE

Intha workshop la students ah exams ku eppadi prepare

strategic planner free ah kudupom.

Intha planner ah follow pani than engaloda Chitti
students avangaloda dream colleges ku ponanga.
So seekarama register panikonga.

Key Takeaways — Shortcut Hook Ad

  • Repetition as a hook is underused but highly
effective — saying “shortcut shortcut shortcut”
three times in the opening creates an immediate
pattern interrupt that stops the viewer mid-scroll
without needing a visual gimmick or a question
  • Reframing a desire as a necessity is more powerful
than validating it — telling students that shortcuts
are not optional but mathematically required (200
questions, 180 minutes) turns a want into a need,
which is a stronger motivator for action
  • Dual audience targeting within one script requires
careful phrasing — shifting from student-facing
    language to parent-facing language mid-script
only works when the transition feels natural,
not jarring. “Unga pasanga” is a clean pivot
    that keeps both audiences engaged
  • Dream college social proof is more emotionally
resonant than generic success claims — “Chitti
students went to their dream colleges following
this planner” speaks to the outcome that matters
most to both students and parents, not just
    exam clearance statistics
  • Short and direct scripts outperform elaborate
ones for high-anxiety audiences — this script
is tighter and faster than AD 1, which suits
a viewer who is already impatient and
    looking for answers quickly

Testimonial

Campaign Level Summary

This campaign demonstrates the ability to write
multiple performance-focused ad scripts for the same
product — each with a completely different hook and
audience approach — while maintaining consistent
brand messaging and CTA structure throughout.

AD 1 used a relatable frustration hook targeting
students directly, building authority through
track record before closing with a scarcity CTA.

AD 2 used a repetition hook with a dual audience
approach — speaking to both students and parents
within the same script — and closed with
transformation-based social proof.

Together these two ads show campaign-level thinking:
the ability to vary creative approach across multiple
ads for the same objective without repeating the
same formula.

Ad 1: Pain Point + Authority + Scarcity
Ad 2: Repetition Hook + Dual Audience + Transformation
Hook: Time pressure and fear of wrong college
CTA Mechanism: Free lead magnet — first 100 scarcity
Outcome: Event registration for free NEET JEE masterclass
